The Motorola Droid 2 Global has been spotted on the Motorola website. From the leaked information, we get the specs of the handset which is headed for Verizon wireless.

According to the available info, the device will be powered by Android 2.2 “Froyo” and will be equipped with a 1.2 GHz processor. The device will also feature a redesigned QWERTY keyboard and will have Quad Band capabilities that will allow calls to over 200 countries.

The device will have a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash, along with “improved touchscreen technology”. The phone will provide support for microSD cards of up to 32GB. The device will also have 802.11b/g/n WiFi and will be Business ready with productivity and security features.

The information has now been pulled from the website. But an official announcement might be just around the corner.

Motorola just recently announced the Droid Pro which is aimed at the BlackBerry market and will be coming with features such as a portrait QWERTY keyboard, a 3.1 inch touchscreen and some security features as well.
