HTCSense Portal Goes Live; HTC Desire HD & HTC Desire Z Users Can Now Enable Remote Access to their Handsets

October 7, 2010, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Remember the online platform that HTC had announced last month for its Android smart phones?  The platform, which is the latest variant of the company’s Sense interface is now live. By just signing in to the new HTCSense.com, you will be able to remotely access messaging content stored on your device from the browser.

Further, via the new HTCSense.com online platform, you will also be able to locate and fish out your device in case it gets misplaced or lost.

You can also dispatch content – and that includes mapping directions – to the phone  and even download multimedia stuff too. As you are aware, the HTCSense.com was made official via an announcement along with the HTC Desire HD and Desire Z a month ago.

The live online platform full support is now available only to users of these two smartphone models. We expect the portal to include other models too very soon, though.

However, HTC has said that any customer of the company can register to activate warranty or to download wallpapers. That means tracking ad remote access, however, is limited to only users of HTC Desire HD and Desire Z owners .

So if you are a HTC customer, you can now register and sign in on the portal. Sign up is absolutely free. Tell us what you think about it.
