Left 4 Dead The Sacrifice DLC dishes out a raw deal for Xbox 360 users

October 6, 2010, By Shawn Wagnon

The latest pack for Left for Dead and Left for Dead 2 is out and while Valve seems to have once again done a fine job, it is the PC and Mac users who are the ones smiling while the Xbox 360 users who are the ones left feeling cheated!

The Sacrifice Pack is a free download pack for both PC and Mac users, while the Xbox 360 users will have to pay a price for it. That obviously has drawn a bit of rage from the Xbox loyals as they obviously see this as unfair towards them. They do have a point since you do not expect valve to change its services based on the console that one is using.

For those wanting to play the new game on Xbox will have to pay up 560 Microsoft Points and there seems no concrete reason as to why this special treatment for Xbox users alone. Apparently the news is that it is Microsoft that charges for the DLC and not Valve themselves.

What is irritating Xbox users is that despite them not minding the 560 MP too much, they still don’t have the pack on Xbox by 5th October- the date promised by Valve. Seriously guys, this is just not on…
