Windows Phone 7 to be launched on October 11 by Steve Ballmer and Ralph de la Vega at NYC

The much awaited Windows Phone 7 OS will be out very soon (and it better be since there are many Smartphones lined up counting on it) and to absolutely nobody’s surprise it will be Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer who will be the keynote speaker at the launch event on October 11 in New York City.

Surely NYC will be all set for the much anticipated event as already press invites have been dispatched across the web with people queuing up to take the first look. On the stage along with the windows wiz Ballmer will be AT&T’s Ralph de la Vega, who quite obviously has enormous fiscal interest attached with the launch.

What will be interesting though is how many would actually get an opportunity after the pep talk and presentation is done with, to handle and analyze Windows Phones. The funny thing is that Microsoft is also holding a London event that will be similar to launch WinPho 7 in Europe and that should be an event which would equally interest one and all.

So while anticipation fills the air as we build up the event in coming weeks wait for further news, details and little nuggets to trickle in… All of them right here of course!
