Panasonic has unveiled its Toughbook CF-C1 rugged and convertible notebook, with a lot of features including a multi-touch resistive screen. The 12.1-inch CF-C1 also has a webcam option and has a warranty that covers the device for accidental damage for two years. The touchscreen will give users better control when the device is in tablet mode and it supports features like pinch to zoom and rotation. The screen also has a matte finish to make it easier to read in bright lighting.

The CF-C1 will be coming with a 2.4 GHz Core i5-520M processor, up to 4GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. It will also feature Intel HD integrated graphics, Gigabit Ethernet, 3G, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity along with an SD/SDHC card slot.

Other features of the notebook include a spill-resistant keyboard (can survive spills of up to 76cm while it is in the operating mode) and a dual battery design that allows for up to ten hours of operation. The device is currently available and it is having a price tag of £1,709.
