A leaked press shot of the HTC Mondrian, the Windows Phone 7 smartphone, has surfaced. The handset, which has been earlier connected with AT&T, is now rumored to be headed for an unnamed German carrier. Mondrian is a code name for one of the many Windows Phone 7 devices that HTC plans to release in the near future.

The image, which comes courtesy of BestBoyz, gives us an opportunity to take a good look at the phone. The shots, which show a unit with a German ROM, have HTC Hub listed on the home screen.

Unfortunately, there is no information available on the specs of the device. It is expected that that the device will be coming equipped with a 4.3 inch screen, and a 1.3GHz QSD8650A/B Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor (which supports UMTS and CDMA 3G). It will also have a camera with HD capabilities and at least 5 megapixels.

It is expected that the Windows Phone 7 will be officially launched in Europe on October 11 and in the US in the following month. So, more details of the HTC Mondrian will be out sometime in the near future. So stay tuned to this space for more updates.
