T-Mobile G2 by HTC Full Specs, Price & Availability

HTC has posted the final specifications of the T-Mobile G2 on its US website. Although the post doesn’t do much more than confirming everything that was previously assumed, it is really comforting to view the device with its own page of features.

As anticipated, the Android 2.2 T-Mobile G2 will be coming equipped with a 3.7-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480×800 as well as a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash.

It will be powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM 7230 processor and will have 4GB of ROM and 512MB of RAM. It will also be coming with aGPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 1300mAh battery.

It is not mentioned in the specs, but is worth reminding, that there is no custom UI on the device, meaning no HTC Sense.

T-Mobile has not yet officially released the price of the device, although the T-Mobile G2’s details page hints that the price tag will be $500 if it is purchased without a contract. But RadioShack announced that they will be selling the device for $149.99 with an instant rebate for those who sign up for a two year agreement. It was first offered through Best Buy, where the handset went up for pre-order at a price tag of $199.99.
