Portal 2’s Co-Op Trailer Shows GLaDOS Narration, Robotic Action

At PAX 2010, some lucky viewers got to see the trailer for Portal 2’s upcoming co-op mode, with some even getting to enjoy direct footage from the upcoming game. And while the rest of us will have to wait until we get to enjoy the game like that, we can at least drool over the upcoming features that we know about!

So far we already knew that the game’s co-operative mode would revolve around two robots, one of which being a modified personality core and the other a different-looking turrent, but now Valve have shown us how the two robots interact between each other, and more importantly, how GLaDOS will interact with them.

According to Valve, the co-operative mode alone will be longer than the entire first Portal, and will be entirely separated from the single player experience – that is, it won’t be the classic formula of “replaying the same old levels with your friends”. The single player itself will also be longer than the first game (naturally), so this really is shaping up like one hell of a title.
