Asus Windows Phone 7 Previewed on Video

A video preview of the Asus Windows Phone 7 handset is out and according to the preview, the device will go on sale sometime before Christmas.

The video of the device, which was previously leaked, comes courtesy of MobileTechWorld who states that it was taken at this year’s Gnomedex event. The clip gives us a better idea of what to expect from the phone when it is finally launched.

The 12 minute video details the various parts of the platform, all of which has been previously seen. But the device looks different from the Asus device that was used by Microsoft to demo Windows Phone 7, a few months ago.

The device is equipped with an AMOLED screen. From the video, the Windows Phone 7 user interface looks pretty cool, but Microsoft has a lot of work to do if it wants to compete with Google Android and Apple’s iOS. But it certainly looks promising.

There are no other specific details available at the moment. But we expect more to be out soon and we will let you know. So stay tuned.
