Samsung Galaxy S Gears Up To Invade China After its US Success

September 8, 2010, By Atul Roach

Samsung has been a huge success story in the US smartphone market and the one single reason to change things around has been the Samsung Galaxy S. All major US carriers are selling their versions of the Galaxy S with Verizon shocking the world with its Fascinate Buy-One-Get-One-Free deal. Samsung now intends to repeat the phenomenal success of the smartphone in the Chinese Market which only has the Apple iPhone as a worthwhile smartphone selling in the nation.

Apple hasn’t been to pleased with its success and the experts blame the cost of the iPhone in China as the biggest reason for the average sales numbers. Samsung could do well by keeping the price comparatively lower than the Apple smartphone as it looks to sell the Galaxy S as a carrier locked device just like the US.

The three big Chinese subscribers China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile will all be selling their different CDMA versions of the Galaxy S. China Telecom will start selling this device as early as the end of this month while the other two carriers will make it available by the end of this year.
