In case you didn’t know, Killzone 3 is being readied by Sony and Guerilla Games for release in the North American markets and the game will come to you on February 22nd, next year. Complete with Move support, Killzone 3 will be offered as a PS3 exclusive and will be a continuation of the second game and would take off from where it had ended. The Killzone 3 Move gameplay videos were doing the rounds at GamesCom 2010 and then at PAX (See videos below).

Though the North American release date is now known, enthusiasts in the European region are still being made to wait. The exact date has not yet been announced, but we anticipate it coming to Europe too during the February month next year itself, sometime close to the North American launch date.

From what we hear, Killzone 3 would be woven around a light hearted tale by Guerilla Games . The developer is said to be not okay with the earlier two versions as they were too dark and serious and had affected sales and popularity.

This in mind, Guerilla has hired a writer to make the story a bit light hearted.  The overall theme would be almost similar to the earlier versions, with the protagonist Sev taking center stage.

We guess we will wait for February 22nd to come, so as to get our hands on Killzone 3. In the meanwhile, here are a couple of Killzone 3 Move demo videos for you:
