The new Samsung tablet will be running Google’s Android 3.5 Honeycomb. Samsung’s head of product planning WP Hong has been quoted as saying that the next generation tablet will be using the Honeycomb Operating System.

We also get to learn about a new tablet but also the fact that 3.5 will be the update after the 3.0 Gingerbread (it was previously rumored that the update will be 4.0). This is the first time that a high level executive has publicly referred to a future Android version as Honeycomb.
