Call Of Duty Black Ops Multiplayer Gets Released Today

September 1, 2010, By Alex Ion

Last month we were reporting that a multiplayer teasing trailer has been released for the long-awaited Call of Duty: Black Ops. It was more than we ever expected for a game in the Call of Duty franchise, even better than Modern Warfare 2, so it had to be said, we got excited.

Call of Duty Black Ops

These being said, we’d like to remind those of you who feel the same, that the Call of Duty Black Ops multiplayer reveal event happens today — two months ahead of the game’s release date which is set for November 9th (for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii).

Treyarch, one of the makers of Call of Duty Black Ops, has announced that they included a video recording and editing component to Black Ops that will “make” players want to create and save clips of their favorite kills, on various social networking websites.

But that’s not all. Other things that will help Black Ops become an even bigger success than MW2 is the fact that the game now features a ballistic knife weapon that allows players to throw blades at enemies quickly and easily; features a radio-controlled RC car strapped with explosives which will allow you to attack unsuspecting enemies; a Camera Spike that allows players to keep some areas under surveillance; and when a 5 Kill Streak is reached, you can get hold of a controllable missile, which unleashes massive destruction on the battlefield.

Call of Duty Black Ops is wicked … for sure.

Stay tuned folks, we have our eyes open for the official Black Ops multiplayer video. We’ll share it with you as soon as it’s out.
