Images of Toshiba’s unannounced Android tablet had been spotted in some of the tech sites a while ago, along with some of its features. The latest we get to hear is that a name has come out along with some more specifications.

The Smart Pad is claimed to be called Folio 100 and it will be coming with a docking station (just like the iPad and the Samsung Galaxy Tab). It will also come with a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 250 graphics chip.

The Android 2.2 tablet will come equipped with a 10.1 inch multitouch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 and will have 16GB of internal memory. The device will also add a 1.3-megapixel front camera for video calling, HDMI, both full-size and mini USB ports, and an SD card for expanding the storage capabilities further. 3G, Bluetooth and 802.11n WiFi connectivity is also available in the package.

It will come with a 1020mAh battery with a battery life of up to 7 hours with mixed use (web browsing and video playback). It’s got Opera mobile browser, Flash 10.1, an e-book reader, and some office applications as well.

It is rumored that the Folio 100 is likely to get a formal debut at the IFA this week and could ship as soon as October.
