Samsung Galaxy Tab UI Inspired by Apple iPad

Samsung Galaxy Tab had emerged in the form of leaks quite a number of times in the recent days. New details of the Android Tablet have now surfaced and Samsung appears to have been inspired by the iPad user interface, as the tablet utilizes a similar keyboard, app layout, and page management system.

There is no change in the earlier rumored specifications of the device. The slate should indeed be released with the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system on board, along with the 7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024×600.

It should arrive on shelves with two cameras, the 3.2-megapixel photo snapper on the back and the front-facing camera aimed at video calling. It will also be coming with 16GB of internal storage. Support for Wi-Fi 802.11n and WCDMA 3G connectivity options are also included into the mix, and it will be powered by a 1GHz Hummingbird processor.

The official release date is expected to be  September 2. That means Samsung will be introducing the Galaxy Tab at IFA Berlin, Europe’s version of the Consumer Electronics Show. Gear up!
