T-Mobile Motorola Charm Available for $75 On A Two-Year Contract

August 26, 2010, By Atul Roach

For once the combination of speculations and company commitments has been true as we see the Motorola Charm being released on T-Mobile. They did say August 25 and gladly, the Charm has been available through the T-Mobile since yesterday. It is not an outright top-notch Android device and hence there is no sensationalism surrounding it, but it does pack a feature set, which we find pleasing enough.

To begin with, there is the Android Eclair goodness on board and things get even better with the presence of a 600Mhz processor along with the MOTOBLUR user interface, which is an asset for social networking fanatics.

To add to this, there is a physical QWERTY keypad and a decent looking 2.8-inch 320×240 touchscreen. Not many devices boast of a combination of QWERTY and a touchscreen, so that is where we feel the Charm is a winner.

Other features on the spec sheet include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 2MP microSD card which comes with the package. What is more is the presence of Flash Lite (preloaded) and a 3MP built-in camera.

All this for $75, after a $75 mail-in-rebate for a two-year voice an data plan-the T-Mobile Motorola Charm is quite a charmer.
