Nokia C7 Details Offer a Sneak Peek in the Form of a Leak

Nokia’s upcoming touchscreen handset, the C7, has been leaked several times. Now the device has been previewed well-ahead of its official announcement.

Not many details of the phone are available, but the leak makes it clear that the C7 is actually a slightly trimmed-down Nokia N8, with a lower price tag.

The C7 is basically the N8 with no HDMI port and with an 8 megapixel camera (the N8 boasts of a 12 megapixel camera).

The Symbian^3 handset, which was spotted in the wild back in early June, has a 3.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 640 x 360. It comes with dual LED flash along with the 8MP autofocus camera.

The C7’s battery life and screen response is better than the N8. It will also come with a 680MHz CPU, 256MB RAM, 1200mAh Li-Ion battery and an internal memory of 8GB.

The Nokia C7 will also support Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 (which hit 10Mbit/s during testing). Murtazin suggests that the device will be available in mid-October or November with a price tag of 350 euros.
