T-Mobile G2 Makes an Appearance on FCC, Release Date Expected Soon

T-Mobile fanatics should gear up for an Android baby in the not so distant future and it is dubbed the HTC G2 which earlier did rounds on the web with a codename HTC PC10100. What makes us so confident about this Android smartphone arrival is that it was spotted on the FCC approval list with the codename of course. We think it is the G2 as the corresponding feature(s) set states that this device has support for HSPA+ –. Now if you remember, T-Mobile HTC G2 is the only smartphone on the T-Mobile list which is HSPA compatible.

With the FCC approval granted, there is absolutely no reason why T-Mobile should hold back the release of the G2. This is a top-notch device in the offing and we can confirm this with the presence of features like a 1Ghz processor, 5MP auto-focus camera with integrated LED flash, WiFi b/g/n and a QWERTY keypad.

There is also a chance of the latest Android 2.2 Froyo version being on board, but since it has not been confirmed, we would like to think otherwise. If however, Froyo is in the mix, T-Mobile freaks are surely in for an Android treat.
