Sony Ericsson Vivaz Arrives to AT&T September 5th

Those of you looking up to Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Vivaz but unable to get it due to carrier issues can rejoice, as the company has announced the launch date for the device on AT&T’s network. The phone, equipped with the Symbian S60 operating system also features a 720p autofocus HD video capable camera with an 8.1 megapixel sensor, and costs $80 with a contract.

The price even goes down to $50 if you opt for a mail-in rebate, and the phone should arrive in AT&T’s stores on September 5th. Sadly, it will only come in one color choice, the “Galaxy Blue” – there’ll be an extra one called the “Venus Ruby” offered for a limited time, only online – so if you don’t want to go with the default color, you may want to hurry up and place your order as soon as possible.

The phone’s only feature which could be seen as a downside by some is the resistive touchscreen – which means you won’t be using it with anything but your fingers, so depending on what you’re used to this may either come as a blessing or a curse to you.
