There are folks who just can’t live without the latest financial information at their fingertips and with that in mind. Since many of us are on the run throughout the day and don’t always have our computers in front of us, it came as no surprise that one of users’ most frequently requested features was a fast, easy-to-use mobile website for Google Finance.

Google has finally made a mobile device compatible version of their Google Finance service. The new mobile website offers nearly all the functionality of the desktop client. This includes real time quotes and data, charts and reports, and nearly mimics the desktop interface and content. Google Finance provides stock quote search, market overviews, access to your portfolio, and market news.

Android and iPhone owners can access the new website by performing a Google search for stock tickers or company names from their smartphones, or tap the “finance” tab on the Google Mobile homepage. If you’re running an Android-powered device, you can also grab the Google Finance app from the Android Market.
