Might & Magic Heroes VI Gets Official; Release Date Set for PC in 2011 [Trailer & First Images]

August 18, 2010, By Alex Ion

Ubisoft are living up to the hype and during this year’s GamesCom the company has officially revealed Might & Magic Heroes VI.

Might & Magic Heroes 6

Heading straight for an international release on Windows PCs sometime in 2011, the latest title in the Might & Magic franchise is in the works as you read. The developers are Black Hole Entertainment, the same guys that have been behind Armies of Exigo and Warhammer: Mark of Chaos and its expansion Battle March.

Might & Magic Heroes 6 - battlefield

Might & Magic Heroes 6 - castle

Might & Magic Heroes 6 - terrain

As you’d expect, Heroes 6 will feature both features of a turn based gameplay and a role playing game, with the main action happening some 400 years before the events from Might & Magic Heroes 5 (which was released in 2006). The plot is all about “a family of heroes in a thrilling, epic story where Angels plot to revive an unfinished war.”

Not sure about you folks, but I’m pretty sure Heroes VI will have a big impact on my free time when it gets released next year. Check out the game’s trailer below!
