Call Of Duty: Black Ops Prestige Edition Comes With RC Spy Car

August 12, 2010, By Christian Davis

Who needs night vision goggles anymore? The latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise is already quite impressive already. The various trailers show that Treyarch aims to make this title better than Infinity Wards Modern Warfare 2 in every aspect, including their Prestige Edition bundle for their game.

Yes, that is a radio controlled spy car. No, it does not explode like the game’s multiplayer videos suggest. It does however, have a camera that provides TFT Color Video and audio to whoever is lucky enough to purchase one of these. Along with the RC car, gamers will also receive the Black Ops medallion, an exclusive Xbox Live Avatar outfit, and four co-op maps. The hardened edition of the game will come with everything listed above with the exception of the RC Spy Car.

PS3 owners will receive the same deal as well, along with a special Playstation Home Avatar. No images of this have surfaced yet, but expect something along the lines of an RC Car or Avatar clothing.

Like many of these ultimate edition bundles, they aren’t cheap. Modern Warfare 2’s Prestige edition was priced at $149.99, Halo Reach’s Legendary Edition is priced at $149.99, and odds are this bundle will be priced at $149.99 as well. The price is not yet confirmed by Activision, but Gamestop already has this as the listing price, and they’re usually right.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is set to release on November 9th.
