Motorola XT806 Android Flip Phone Spotted on Chinese Mobile Regulatory Website

The new Motorola XT806 has been spotted on a Chinese mobile regulatory website. The phone which runs on Android 2.1 operating system resembles the design of Motorola Ming which was sold early this year. Most probably the XT806 will be the next device launched by Moto after releasing the Droid 2.

The XT806 comes equipped with a large transparent flip, and is powered by a 600 TI OMAP3430 chip. It supports GSM/CDMA network. It boasts a 3.6-inch LCD display throwing in a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It packs a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording and LED flash. The CDMA2000 single screen phone which comes with 512MB RAM, 512MB flash storage and a microSD card slot also includes FM radio, Bluetooth, WLAN of some sort and an internal antenna.

The Moto XT806 which is expected to be launched soon will be available for Chinese market via China Telecom.
