Verizon roadmap tips DROID Pro 1.3 GHz worldphone, Samsung & Moto tablets and LTE MiFi

A whole lot of info just landed over at the guys at BGR from a source at Verizon Wireless and it details almost all of the wireless giant’s plans for 2010, 2011 and even 2012. The tips include info about a 1.3GHz smartphone, multiple tablet devices and LTE handsets and mobile hotspots. Interestingly, and possibly disappointing the iPhone fans, there is no mention of a CDMA iPhone in the roadmap.

The flagship device mentioned is the Motorola DROID PRO, which is supposedly a 4 inch Android device with a 1.3GHz processor and global radio. It is apparently launching this November. Motorola is also closely working with Big Red on a “slab form factor” device which will run Android 2.2 and support global roaming. There are also hints of other Android worldphones from both HTC and Moto.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab, which was unveiled recently, with a 7-inch display, is part of the plans along with a tablet device from Motorola, which will have a 10 inch display, Android 3.0, 1.3 GHz CPU and front facing camera. However it may be as late as February 2011 when we see that one.

The Novatel LTE MiFi hotspot device, which will support upto 10 devices, will be launched in January or February and VZW is expecting 75% LTE coverage of the country by April 2011. LTE pricing will be at $59.99/month, through a multitude of data cards ( the data allowance cap is not known at this time ).

So, if we are to believe all that, Verizon is just gonna add some major units to the Android army and give themselves a major boost too in the process.
