HTC Desire HD Rumored to be Ready for Roll Out; May Arrive This Fall

August 9, 2010, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

The HTC Desire HD, also known by the codename HTC Ace, is rumored to be unveiled this fall. The device has similarities to the HTC EVO 4G which was launched by the company recently. The phone boasts a bigger display similar to EVO. It will have a 4.3 inch touchscreen, and comes with an aluminum unibody design similar to HTC legend.

But Desire HD will be offering a greater RAM size of 4GB, although the 1GHz processor remains the same. It will not have a trackpad which is seen in most of the Android powered phones launched by HTC.

Apart from these features, it comes equipped with an 8-megapixel camera and has automatic face tracking. Most probably, it will be having an Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and will support 720p HD video recording. Xvid playback, SRS surround sound and Flash 10 is also included. We are just waiting to know what is on the pricing front.
