Motorola Flipout Picks Rogers as its First North American Carrier

The Canadians are at it again. Last we heard about a Rogers’ coup was just a few hours ago when the BlackBerry Curve 9300 latched on to the carrier. The latest is that the Motorola Flipout has arrived on Rogers. The carrier is offering the phone for a 3-year contract at C$30. You can also get your Flipout for C$375 san the 3-year contract. The Motorola Flipout is expected to be a hit for Rogers for the many features that the device boasts of.

The Google Android 2.1 phone with a 3.0 mega pixel comes with a Motoblur UI and is being offered as a fashionable device. The Flipout boasts of a 2.8  inch touchscreen and a 5-row QWERTY keypad. Features include a multimedia player, GPS and connectivity options come in the form of Wi-Fi and 3.5G. Social networking comes easy with options towards such aspects well charted out. On the storage front, the phone comes with memory of 256 MB, expandable up to 32 GB.

Motorola has incorporated a battery which offers uninterrupted talk time of 5 hours and a stand by time of up to 16 days. The pack also includes a charger, stereo headset and data cable.  If you are in Canada, head for Rogers now to have the first taste of the Motorola Flipout.
