Samsung Galaxy S Running Android 2.2 Froyo Previewed in Online Video

A new online video created and released by HDBlog, an Italian tech blog, previews a Samsung Galaxy S smartphone operating on the Android 2.2 platform. The Froyo software shown in the video has been confirmed to be an official yet test build of the operating software that was earlier leaked online and is now available for download here.

The video shows that Android 2.2 Froyo adds a lot of performance to the smartphone and increases the responsiveness of the device. Though the ROM shown in the video is said to be incomplete as some features are still absent on the phone, a late addition to the video mentions that a complete ROM is now available on the same website.

The new ROM is said to provide fixes for all the bugs present in the initial ROM and is also ready for use. Samsung had announced last month that the Android 2.2 Froyo update would be made available for all of its Samsung Galaxy S handsets and the preview video is sure to encourage many Galaxy S users to install even the test build on their devices. So check out the video below and tell us if you think that Froyo makes a better partner for Samsung phones than the Touchwiz 3.0.
