Right on the heels of Bell’s new iPad sharing plans, Rogers has detailed its upgrade plans for the iPhone 4 along with a data sharing plan for the iPad. The offer give some really good discounts for those who are upgrading to the new iPhone.

Anybody who bought an iPhone between January 2009 and June 7 this year can buy a 16 GB iPhone 4 for $399 or a 32 GB one for $499. However, if you got an iPhone 3G in 2008 and later upgraded to an iPhone 3GS between June 19 and September 15 last year, you get a much better discount and only have to pay $159 or $269 respectively for getting the iPhone 4 on a three year contract. This offer will also be applicable to those who bought an iPhone 3G in 2008 and haven’t upgraded till now. New customers to Rogers get the same discount. Fido customers will get discounts between $250 and $490 if they started a new agreement before June 7, and can also count their FidoDollars toward the upgrade.

And regardless of what OS your smartphone is running, Rogers is also reviving its smartphone data plan till September 30, offering 6GB of data per month for $30. Anyone with the 6GB plan can share the data with an existing iPad by paying an extra $20 per month.
