Dell Streak First Look and Impressions

Those in Europe may have been enjoying the Streak for quite a while now, but Americans just got to use the handset as it’s been made available on their market recently. So, if you live in the US and have been planning to get one of the new Streaks, you may want to read this to get an idea of what to expect from the device.

One of the best features about the Streak is its large screen, spanning over 5 inches. It does seem a bit bulky for holding in your pocket though, but that shouldn’t pose that much of a problem for most users. The Streak also features a 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU, 512 MB of RAM, as well as up to 16 GB of storage space with the microSD expansion. The screen is running at a 800×480 resolution, which brings it up to par with the Nexus One and Sprint Evo 4G.

The Dell Streak also supports GPS, as well as the standard GSM/HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE. For extra connectivity, you have Bluetooth 2.1 support, and you also get a 5-megapixel camera for your media needs.
