July 19, 2010, By Christian Davis

The PC and iPad hit, Plants vs Zombies, has now got a release date on our precious Xbox 360’s. PopCap games are the masters of “casual gaming” and this is one of the best ones they’ve ever released. Well, Peggle is a close second.

This cute addictive tower defense game is set for an “early September” release date on Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points which is the equivalent of $15 dollars. The game will also take a visual improvement as well, reaching 1080p for some nice High Definition gaming.

The Xbox 360 port will have several add ons as well: 21 new minigames to absorb our time. Two new modes, co-op and Vs, and a “house” feature that will allow players to create a custom space that tracks progress and has leaderboards for sizing up which of your friends has the greenest thumb of all.

Along with the downloadable version, gamers will be able to pick up a PopCap Games compilation disc, which will have Peggle, Zuma, and Plants VS Zombies for $20.
