HTC Desire Briefing For Telus Canada Employees, Is the Release Date Close?

July 14, 2010, By Atul Roach

Telus will be the first North American Carrier to break cover of the HTC Desire while the US fanatics will have to look up to AT&T. Having said this, even the Telus release date remains a dilemma for the Canadian carrier subscribers, but they might finally be getting closer to lay their hands on the Android 2.1 powered device.

There is no rumor afloat which makes us predict the nearing release, but the news of the Telus employees being briefed about the HTC Desire has us excited. It is some Telus insider who has revealed about the employees being briefed on the upcoming HTC Android smartphone, however, he did not mention whether it was mandatory for all.

The Telus staff members may be getting briefed on a compulsory basis but our readers here on DM know every ounce about the phone without any compulsion. It is because we’ve discussed vividly about the Android smartphone countless times and we do not need to know what the device comes packed with.

To name a few attractions, it gets Android 2.1 with Sense UI, 1Ghz of processing power, a 3.7-inch OLED Display and a 5-megapixel camera. The next time we talk about the Telus HTC Desire, we will hopefully have its confirmed release date.
