Sony PS3 3D Gaming Can Pose Health Risks, Read PS3’s Updated Terms and Conditions

The expanding world of 3D gaming is ever so exciting for the ardent gamers and as more and more people try to explore 3D gaming opportunities, it is the ideal time to talk about the involved health hazards as well. You read it right folks, 3D gaming involves ‘health risks’ and even PS3 gaming console maker Sony is in no mood to deny the fact.

Sony indeed has gone head and revamped its terms and conditions to include the health risk clause, implying that Sony is also fully aware of the problems and it does not wish to keep the gamers in darkness. Not just 3D gaming, even simple viewing of 3D content can leave the users with strained, fatigued eyes and nausea as per the refurbished T&C.

Sony mentions that some users may experience discomfort while viewing 3D content and if you do feel awkward, Sony advises you to move away from the screen immediately. People who feel nothing are still advised to take breaks between 3G gaming sessions and children below the age of 6 should not be allowed to play these games.

There is plenty mentioned in the T&C, but I feel it is a case where Sony is just wanting to make people aware and the brand realizes that despite this warning, ardent, avid, gamers will not move away from their 3D screens.
