New Street Fighter Game At Comic Con?

July 13, 2010, By Christian Davis

Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono added a new photo to his Twitter account teasing at a new Street Fighter game. So soon? Speculation seems to be pointed to a more “casual” style of play. Possibly even using the latest in motion technology, as in: Kinect, Move, and Wii.

At this years Comic Con, Ono will be speaking at the Street Fighter Panel and it’s possible that he has a sneak peak lined up for all the attendees. The image(shown above) shows Ryu returning to his closed frowning eyes and on the right the ink swirls that were first introduced in Street Fighter 4.

The Street Fighter Panel description states:

12:00-1:00 Street Fighter Mania!: SSFIV and Beyond! — Producer Super Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono shares his thoughts on SSFIV and presents his exciting vision for the future of the franchise. Experience why everyone can’t get enough of Street Fighter! Featuring Seth Killian, Street Fighter special adviser. Followed by a Q&A session. Room 25ABC

Even though there are ink swirls, there is still the chance of it being a game just including Street Fighter characters. It could potentially be a another “VS” series(Marvel vs Capcom, Capcom vs Street Fighter, etc…) or a trailer for character DLC that’s going to be released soon. There was talk of adding “Rainbow Mika” to the line-up and this may be the introduction of that.

Comic Con is in 10 days, so we’ll have to wait and see.
