It’s quite hard to choose between budget laptops as you’re trying to fit everything in, yet, still get a good price on it. Well it’s the specs and pricing for the new Gateway LT32 that make it an interesting buy.

Similar with the Aspire One 721 (apparently they even share the chassis), the new Gateway LT32 runs on an Athlon II Neo K125 processor that clocks in at 1.7GHz and has an ATI Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics card with 384MB of dedicated system memory that won’t have a problem handling your 1080p stuff onto the 11.6-inch HD LED-backlit display.

Along the same lines, it’s packed with Windows 7 Home Premium, has 2GB of RAM and 250GB of storage space. There’s also 3G & WiFi connectivity (b/g/n), an integrated HD webcam and a built-in digital microphone that promises to keep background noise levels low and to minimize echoes.

“The new Gateway LT32 is a true ultra-mobile entertainment powerhouse netbook,” said Pete Dailey, senior product marketing manager for Gateway netbooks. “It delivers a heightened level of performance and HD entertainment with the powerful combination of AMD Neo processors, ATI graphics and the crisp and clear HD display. The HDMI port means that customers can enjoy their digital entertainment on a large external display wherever they go.”

Regarding pricing, the new Gateway LT32 is going to cost $450, which is some $30 more than the Aspire One 721.
