Pictures of a new handset from HTC called Vision, featuring a physical QWERTY keyboard and running on Google’s Android operating software, have been leaked on the Internet. The handset will the first high-end Android-based phone from HTC to include a physical QWERTY keyboard.

Rumors of the HTC Vision had begun circulating as early as May this year with a user agent profile that mentioned a QWERTY keyboard on a phone running Android OS. The Vision has been rumored to run on version 2.1 of the Android OS combined with HTC’s Sense user interface.

The phone has been reported to feature a 3.7-inch screen which, according to the previously leaked user agent profile, is a WVGA display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. The phone also contains a 1 GHz processor within, to power its functions.

However, the phone in the picture cannot be confirmed to be the HTC Vision as other online rumors suggest that the Vision will have a 4.3-inch display and a dual core processor clocking 800 MHz. It has also been rumored to feature an 8 megapixel camera and have Android 3.0 Gingerbread as its operating software.
