Lenovo Ideapad Y560d 3D Laptop Rolls Out with $1499 Price Tag

Lenovo has launched its first 3D laptop called the Ideapad Y560d on its online store at a price of $1499. However, the announced cost is just the sale price for the device and could increase if the laptop is  purchased from a retail store.

The Ideapad Y560d contains a 1.6 GHz Core i7-720 QM processor from Intel within. The 3D graphics and video can be seen on the laptop’s high-definition 15.6-inch widescreen LED display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium software functions as the operating software in the 3D Ideapad, that requires a pair of 3D glasses to view the content in 3D.

The laptop’s graphics are powered by a 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 GPU. A 500 GB hard disk capable of functioning at speeds of up to 5400 rpm is also a part of the device. Internal memory in the laptop comprises of a 4GB DDR3 RAM.

Other features on the Ideapad 3D laptop include a dual-layer DVD writer, Bluetooth version 2.1+ EDR, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, 1.3 megapixel webcam and a 6-cell lithium-ion battery. The Lenovo 3D Ideapad Y560d is available with a one-year warranty form Lenovo’s online store.
