The C7-00 handset has been confirmed for a roll-out from Nokia owing to a string of XML codes that was added on Nokia’s website. The XML codes also indicate the C7 to be running on the Symbian^3 OS and reveal an nHD display with a resolution of 360×640 pixels to be present in the device.
The confirmation of the C7 handset through the XML codes on the Nokia site come a week after images of the phone were leaked online. The images showed the phone to have an 8 megapixel camera and a dual LED flash on its rear side. They also showed a front-facing camera to be present just above the screen of the phone.
The Nokia C7 was also said to include stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm headphone jack as its features. It has also been reported to feature a 3.5-inch screen as well.
The XML code for the Nokia C7 also reveals that an ARM-based CPU will be present in the device. The phone will also feature 3G UMTS/HSPA, Bluetooth and WiFi. However, Nokia is yet to reveal the pricing on the C7 as well as the date of its official launch.
