HP Envy 14 now available starting at $1100

The HP Envy 14 and 17 notebooks were leaked back in early May. As promised, the HP Envy 14 started shipping on June 27th, or yesterday. The HP Envy 14 notebook can now be ordered from the HP‘s online store. The mainstream performance notebook starts at $1099.99 and comes packed with some rather nice features.

The HP Envy notebook comes with options for Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 CPUs and 4GB of RAM expandable to 8GB. The GPU is an ATi Mobility Radeon HD5650 with 1GB of RAM, which should provide for some satisfactory gaming experience. The machine is 1.1 inches thick, weighs 5.25 pounds and comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system. The 14.5 display is LED backlit with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels.

For storage, depending on your option, you can get anything from a 320GB HDD to a 256GB SSD.  The HP Envy 14 series will offer upto 8 hours of battery life with its 8-cell lithium-ion battery. The notebook also has WiFi, Bluetooth, slot-loading DVD burner, HDMI and mini display port outputs.

The HP Envy 14 starts at $1099.99 and can go anywhere upto $2,139.99 with all the addons and upgrades.
