Apple Give Response to iPhone 4’s Antenna Problem

Recently, we informed you of the iPhone 4’s odd signal problems, related to holding the device in a particular way. Customers send quite a lot of complaints to Apple, and Steve Jobs has finally given a response to the problem – according to him, it is a “non-issue”.

The best solution to the problem so far is to just avoid grip the phone by its lower left end, which will prevent you from covering the battery and hopefully you’ll get better reception and clear your problems. There are other ways of holding the iPhone 4 that can block its reception though, so you’ll have to be careful regardless.

Part of the problem comes from the fact that the metal bands that surround the sides of the iPhone 4 are used as antennas for the phone, and when users touch both black lines that are found on the phone’s sides, around the bottom, reception drops – according to user reports. In other words, the problem is far from a non-issue from what we can see.
