Sony Vaio Z Laptop Upgrades Available In The US With Core i7 Processor, 1920×1080 Display

Sony has upgraded its Vaio Z laptops in the US with the Core i7 processor from Intel and a 1920×1080 HD display being included as part of the upgrade. The details of the upgrade, which are available on the Sony Style website, mention the HD display upgrade worth $100 as being optional but free till July 3.  The price range for the laptops range from $1900 to $1950 in the US.

The Vaio Z laptops have a 13.1-inch screen and ordinarily have a screen resolution of 1900×600 pixels. The new, Full HD display upgrade has a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Users can opt for Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate versions of Windows 7 as the genuine operating software.

A 512 GB solid state drive as well as a GeForce GPU from NVIDIA with a VRAM capacity of up to 1 GB is also part of the upgraded Vaio Z laptops. The Z1190X model and Z1290X model priced at $1900 and $1920 respectively, can be fitted with Blu-Ray Disc player/burner as well. All of the models be upgraded to a RAM capacity of 8 GB.
