The specifications for the Galaxy S Pro smartphone have been leaked online, though they cannot be completely confirmed yet. Moreover, since the device is currently in its testing phase, its specifications could be  changed before its launch.

The Samsung Galaxy S Pro will feature a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor from Samsung/Intrinsity and a Super AMOLED display with a size that could be equal to the 4-inch screen on the Samsung Galaxy S phone. It could have a resolution of 800×480 pixels as well. A customized version of Samsung’s Touchwiz 3.0 will be the user interface for the phone and it will run on the 2.1 version of the Android OS.

The Galaxy S Pro will have a physical QWERTY keyboard with raised keys and it will slide out from underneath the display. It is already known that the phone will support 3G as well as 4G and will be the second smartphone after the HTC EVO 4G to connect to Sprint’s WiMax network. In addition to this, it will also feature 802.11 b/g/n WiFi.

A front-facing VGA camera and a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera are also present on the phone and the camera in the back is capable of capturing HD videos of 720 p resolution. It will have a RAM capacity of 512 MB and a ROM capacity of 8.2GB. The device will also contain various apps from Sprint such as Sprint TV that will be capable of functioning over the WiFi network as well, unlike the HTC EVO 4G. However, according to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy S Pro has a distinct plastic-y feel to it which some users may not like.
