Apple Store App Now Available at the App Store

Yesterday, some rumors were going aruond that Apple are planning on releasing a new app for the iOS, linking the devices to the Apple Store. And now, less than 24 hours later, the app is already live and ready for download from the Apple App Store.

The app is titled “Apple Store” and is available to both iPhone and iPad users, allowing them to shop for products and accessories as well as read reviews and find Apple retail stores in their vicinity; it also keeps the user updated with current store events and promotions, and features several neat options like Personal Shopping and One to One appointments.

If you think about it, the reason for the slight delay in the app’s release is rather obvious – with the iPhone 4 available for preorders starting today too, it’s more than likely that Apple would want to reap in on the customer’s curiosity and possibly score a few extra pre-orders on the new iPhone. We don’t blame them though, seeing as how it’s looking more and more attractive.

The app is free by the way, so might as well go get it!
