Samsung ‘Galaxy Tape’ Tablet To Debut in September; To Feature Android 2.2 And 1.2 GHz Processor

The Samsung ‘Galaxy Tape’ tablet, which was earlier rumored to be called the S-Pad or Tab, has been reported to release in September with Android 2.2 Froyo as its operating software. It has also been said that the  functions of the device will be powered by an A8 processor with a speed of 1.2 GHz.

The Galaxy Tape tablet will have a 7-inch screen with Super AMOLED display that will enable users to view and read content on the tablet in broad daylight as well. Samsung’s Touchwiz user interface will also be present on the device.

Internal memory worth 16 GB will be present in the Galaxy Tape while external memory of up to 48 GB can be accommodated in the device in the form of microSD cards. A 4000 mAh battery will power the tablet, which will have a total weight of 370 grams.

Users of the device will also be able to connect and download apps from the Samsung apps store.
