LG-LifeSize Executive Video Conferencing System Makes Virtual Meetings Look Easier and Hassle-Free

LG Electronics and high-definition video communications major LifeSize Communications have come under a single umbrella and the union has given birth to an Executive Video Conferencing System that promises to deliver enhanced video conferencing capabilities.  The system comprises an all-in-one desktop and camera solution and a portable, room-type application. It comes across as a unit that can be installed in a conference room or office.

LG and LifeSize have made the model in such a way it they can be configured to work with a TV, monitor or projector.

LG and LifeSize have ensured that the system involves hassle-free working and it includes an on-screen dashboard that helps in easy navigation. The easy-navigation tool allows users to shift between calls, directories, settings and the main menu.

The fully integrated video solution comes with a 24-inch HD display and an integrated HD webcam that has 720p resolution and can captures 30 frame per second full motion video. The HD display boasts of a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

A wideband audio and a microphone set have been provided.  The system is being offered with built-in speakers and echo cancellation. Besides, it offers Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation for automatic control of the screen size based on the users’ network. We learn that LG would be bringing forth the Executive Video Conferencing System for $2999. The system will start shipping by the third quarter of 2010.
