HTC Evo 4G Starts Selling on Sprint Online

June 4, 2010, By Alex Ion

We reckon, it’s been a long journey. But we’re finally there. What many have called the smartest smartphone to date, the new HTC Evo 4G started to sell on Sprint’s online web store earlier today.

You already know that the superphone has dual-mode 3G/4G and a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display (too big if you ask us), runs on a Snapdragon 1GHz processor from Qualcomm, has Android 2.1 under the hood, an 8 megapixel camera, two-way video calling and that wicked Wi-Fi hotspot feature.

While it’s no surprise (regular DM readers should know all these by now) Sprint has the Evo 4G selling for $199 and that includes a two year contract, $150 instant savings and $100 mail-in rebate. For now you’re only allowed to buy 5 units per customer, but we doubt people will be that crazy. Or maybe if they plan on beginning their commercial career and start exporting?

So how about it folks, did any of you bought their Evo 4G from Sprint’s online store?

How does it feel?
