Microsoft Xbox Live will be including a Hulu app as part of its services, according to several rumors. It has been also been rumored that Microsoft will make an announcement regarding the availability of the Hulu on the Xbox at the company’s press conference on June 14 before the upcoming E3 event.

While one rumor suggested that Hulu may be coming to Xbox Live, another tech website claimed to confirm the existence of a Hulu app for the Xbox 360, but said that the Hulu service was facing issues regarding copyright as certain networks were against providing their content for TV through another medium. For the uninitiated, Hulu is an online service that streams TV shows and movies that can be viewed on certain devices including PCs. The Hulu app is said to be added to the dashboard for Xbox Live, in a manner similar to the Netflix app.

The Xbox Live Hulu service is likely to be a charged service, though the fee hasn’t been revealed yet. Certain newspaper reports had earlier suggested that Hulu would add a paid service called Hulu Plus for its online users at a charge of $9.95 per month. The paid users would be access more shows and movies, as opposed to the limited choice for free users.
