The rumored “superphone” HTC Scorpion also called the Scorpio, is reportedly coming to Verizon sometime in the future. It will be HTC’s next major flagship device and from what is going around, it seems like it will be a beast of a gadget.

Leaked as early as in February at the CES, the HTC Scorpion is supposed to be powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz SnapDragon and run on Android 2.2 Froyo.

The news comes a source named ‘conflipper’ who has been accurate till now, who tweeted about the new device coming to Bell and Verizon. This should make it one of the fastest phones ever and should sport a design similar to that of the Evo 4G.

No details are known as to when or at what price the phone will be available.
