We may have jumped the gun too early by mentioning that the Samsung Galaxy S has been unveiled in Germany as a new set of rumors tend to refute our claim. As per Korean blog IT Times, the Super AMOLED laden Galaxy S will be launched simultaneously in a whopping 110 countries and Samsung is already preparing the global launch of this smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy S will be the new flagship smartphone for brand Samsung and as per IT Times, the handset has been confirmed by Vodafone (UK), Orange (FR), SingTel (SG), Deutsche Telecom (Germany), while the other global carriers on the list are yet to be detailed.

There are a number of reasons for the Samsung Galaxy S to be an eagerly awaited smartphone and one of them is its Super AMOLED screen which is visible even in bright light with incredible quality. Another big reason is its Hummingbird processor which is touted to be the fastest in the 1GHz category and it even betters the Snapdragon offering.

Another big inspiration for the smartphone lovers can be the kind of support the Galaxy S offers for multimedia functions- MP3, WAV, eAAC+, AC3 and FLAC audio files and MP4, DivX, WMV, H.264 and H.263 video files, what more could you ask for?
