Sony Releases New PSP Promos, New “Favorites” Line

June 1, 2010, By Gerard "Danger" Cabarse

While the PSP hasn’t been exactly too much to talk about since its launch, Sony has recently come out with promotions to justify the $170.00 price tag.

Sony’s cut prices on some of the more popular PSP titles, creating a new software line called “Favorites.” It features games such as Ape Escape: On The Loose, Twisted Metal: Head On, and Patapon 2. These have been reduced to a modest price tag of $9.99.

More games have joined the price cut wagon. Four new games have been inducted into the Greatest Hits collection for the PSP. These new games include Gran Turismo, Little Big Planet, Resistance: Retribution, and Secret Agent Clank.

Perhaps the sweetest bit of the deal is for those who don’t yet have a PSP or planning to buy a new one. Until March 31st, 2011, Sony’s offering people who purchase a PSPGo system three game downloads for free.

It does sounds like a sweet deal and there are a definitely a handful of exclusives on the PSP. Maybe this is that last push to convince those of you on the fence over to get a PSP.
