HTC Droid Incredible is back on Verizon – expected to ship by June 16th

Yesterday, the HTC Droid Incredible had mysteriously disappeared from Verizon’s website. Now it seems like the device is back after a short delay. According to the Verizon CEO, component shortages are causing them some difficulties in keeping the device in stock. The phone has been so popular that when it released on April 29th, it sold out within hours via the company’s web store.

While customers are once again able to order the Droid Incredible, the phone won’t be shipping until June 16th. The company is facing delays as HTC is facing shortages in the screens being manufactured by Samsung. Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam went on to assure that Samsung has ramped up the production rates to keep up with the demand. Earlier Verizon had added an offer of giving away a 2GB microSD card free with every Droid Incredible. This offer is still available.
The Droid Incredible is one of the most best Android handsets on the market right now. It runs on Qualcomm’s 1GHz SnapDragon processor and also features an 8 megapixel camera. It is priced at $199 with a two year contract.
